One of the nices guys you'd ever want to meet. I was at Michigan several years ago, when Neals son was racing a car there. If you've every been to Michigan the Busch cars do not have a garage so they work on pit road. Neal was working on his son's car and I walk up to him and asked for his autograph. He said he could only talk for a few minutes because he was working on the car. He talk for a few minutes and signed all the autographs from people that were around. As we all left another group of people came up and said could they get his autograph. He said he could only spare a few minutes because he was working on his sons car, but he signed autographs. We walked pit road back and forth for awhile, each time ending up by Neil Bonnett and each time the same words could be heard, I can only give you a few minutes because I'm working on my son's car. I think in the four hours we were on pit road, he never got much work done on that car. We even got to talk to him when he was standing on the track for his TV show. We told him how much we enjoyed it and his said he was very glad to hear that. There was a race driver who appreciated fans. The smile on his face was worth the autograph.
