My wife works for Lowe's Companies and she won an email drawing for 2 suite tickets in the Fox Sports Suite for the Coca Cola 600 in 2002. I had never been to a race, and wasn't too optimistic about it, besides the free food and air conditioning. I ended up sitting right in front of DB for the Giants (at that time) Jason Sehorn. The Fox sports rep in that suite started a pool, $20 and you could by a driver out of a hat. If your driver was winning at the half point, you won $200, if he won the race as well, you won an additional $500. I pulled Mark Martin! I was pissed at first because at that time, Mark hadn't won in forever. Half point Jimmie was winning, but as you all know Mark won that race holding off teammate Kenseth. Got $500 and a great experience. After that I was hooked to racing, and not because of the $500, but because of the experience. Nothing beats a live race, I've been to NFL and NBA games, and they don't even come close.
