Paul Tracy: Will Jump to Busch Series
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Saturday, December 17, 2005
Update: Tracy will make the jump to the NASCAR Busch Series in selected races in 2006. Tracy, who was in Daytona testing an ARCA car for Andy HIllenburg, told MRN Radio's "NASCAR Today" that he will run a second Busch car for Biagi Brothers [#4 team] racing next year.
anyone else think this is a bad idea for paul tracy?

No......
I think I mentioned it in a thread earlier this year. If PT gets on a decent team I think he will be competitive. There WILL be a learning curve, and wouldn't be suprised if he has a so-so year as a rookie.
I think he will do well enought to get a NASCAR Ride eventually.
But he's no Tony Stewart.
(or is he?)

dont judge this cat to early, he's got a mean streak and can drive the wheels of any ride he gets into.
I this that he'll be competitive if he gets a good ride but certainely not with Biagi.....
iT'S ALSO A GOOD MOVE FOR THE EVENTUAL cANADIAN MARKET!

everyone says he is no tony stewart, but in my opinion Paul Tracy has consistently out-performed Stewart in open wheel racing, albeit, they did run in different leagues. The year Stewart won the IRL championship, IRL was really really weak. meh, i've done the stat comparison's before multiple times on here.
anyways...
watch out tracy is coming to nascar!!!!! hes a big hell raiser!!

I look forward to seeing him run. He should shake up the place a bit.
5 races tho? He'll be out there to make an impression in those I hope.
