Spring, 2000... Jr. won at I think it was Richmond, he was on the tv doing interviews right after the race -'cos I think it was the first time a rookie won a race???? (I was only introduced to NASCAR at this point by an ex-boyfriend who took me to the Cracker Barrel 500 in Atlanta that was right before that Richmond race, if I remember correctly, so, didn't know much about it... not like I do now). Anyways, sitting at the bar I used to work at, in ATL, and I'm a little tipsie, and I look up at the monitor, and right away, I'm going, "Holy S*#t! He is so hot!! OMG, can you believe what a good looking guy he is? Holy S*#t! He is so f'ing hot.." and I'm going on and on. Well, next thing I know, the owner (who used to be my employer), said I had to leave because I was cussing. Last time I checked, it was a bar, not Sunday school...So, that's the night I became a Jr. fan, and just because I got barred, well, of course his looks got me in trouble, and that was the first sign, but more now, that i'm an old lady, it's definately out of spite... well, then I realized he really IS a good driver :wink:
