Being Canadian there are not too many other fans I have ever had to talk to. Most times I would tell people im watching a Nascar race and they would say a what?. Well too my surprise 3 other officers I work with also love Nascar and before I know I find myself on the way to Michigan for the GFS Race a two months ago.
We saw the Busch race which was awesome and then we showed up Extra Extra early on the sunday. We wanted to get some autographs but low and behold all the tickets they hand out were gone. IM walking along and out of nowhere I see s Sharpie Girl handing out a ticket to a guy telling him the shhhhhhhhhhh. I start bugging her and after a couple of mins I got me a ticket to meet #97!!!!!!! woot woot!!!! so at my first race I got to meet Kurt Busch and then we were walking around and ran into Casey Mears and Sterling Marlin. Really wanted to meet Biffle and Edwards. Next season we are camping out there.
