Well I think some of the hype that was surrounding her will be gone now. She ran 13th last night, Its probably foolish of me to say it, but i don't think we'll hear as much of her...Then again...if she has a few more crappy runs, we'll probably hear more of her...

I watched some of the IRL race since the in between the bgn rain delay and the tigers rain delay...

Anyhoo, you would have thought she was the second coming the way they talked about her, in 12th place. WOW. {{sarcasm}}.

I did have to laugh though. She was supposed to practice in an F1 car, kinda like that Jiffy-Montoya deal a few years ago. The article made it seem like she was the first woman to do that (uh Sarah Fisher did). But now she backed out. She said she figured it was just publicity because she is a woman.

HAHHAHAHA, what does she think about the publicity she IS getting? They keep focusing on her being a woman.

i think she's good for the sport. so as far as i'm concerned, keep up with the publicity, i know my g/f will watch the races with me because she's racing. she likes cheering for a female.

I don't mind rooting for a female driver.

I just don't like it when it's overblown, overrated, and they make the big deal out of the fact she's a woman.

During the ARCA race, they talked about Erin Crocker. Of course they have to mention Danica :rolleyes: . But Erin said, "I'm not Danica, I'm Erin." Good for her, she doesn't want the comparison either.

The URL pretty much sums up what the site is about. Its easy to see why there is so much hype around this girl even though she isnt the best racer. She is good, but no better then dozens and dozens of other racers that compete against her.
