Well did you like the race? I only watched laps 64-80...It was dull and boring, Kinda reminded me of Las Vegas or Michigan in that aspect. I like how they stammered over the mexican drivers names. Was it me or did DW not say a whole lot...probably holding his breath from all the pollution in that town. I also noticed larry mac said jamie mcmurray's name right...Jamie MCMurray rather then "jamie mac murrie" That was a first. I didn't feel like it was a race that should have been there. Just watching it, it didn't feel like a nascar sanctioned race. Who'da thunk truex would win that...I totally was thinking a mexican or a road racer was gonna take it. Well in conclusion, I hate roadcourses and I hope that they never have a nextel cup race there...It would be just as dull

I like road courses, but that race was rather dull. Little if any
passing was done. The TV coverage stuck to the leaders too
much. It was a pleasure that DW couldn't talk much though !!!

Darrell needed a cough drop. His voice was so scratchy.

Hey Martin, if Beeny were doing the broadcast he would have screwed up everyone's name, even Jamie's.

It was pretty dull, but then I've never been a fan of road courses since it seems it's always follow the leader (we got enough of that on ovals!) But, it's what the braintrusts in Daytona want, soon we'll have overseas points races.

i hate road courses and this race didn't change my mind so i think they need to get rid of it. espically if the drivers may be targets to get hijacked. If the drivers lifes are in danger then why should they go down there in the first place.

DaleJr fan.

Why do they go down there?

Cause Brian France wants alls the money.

Money talks. They said yesterday that was the highest bgn purse. The bgn guys never seen money like that, even last place paid alot.

But if it was my life or the money, well I'd choose life.

i watched bits and pieces of the race but that course didnt thrill me too much and yes it was rather dull. i personally enjoy watchin the road races because its a nice little change...not to mention im from sonoma so theres a little biased to that track :) anyways, im more surprised that NASCAR didnt go to Canada. Some place like Montreal would have made more sense than MC. oh well things change i guess. I would love to see another uniquely shaped track or another half mile track on the schedule...with that said and done...im all gung-ho for NASCAR down-under...g'day mate, lets put another shrimp on the bar-b
