Hey, I stumbled on this forum a few weeks back because I was thinking of making my own, and I still might. But for now I was wondering if you looked into using mod-rewrite on the forum since you do have a vb forum. Using mod re-write will make your forum spiderable by search engines, meaning more back links and more content, meaning you go higher up when people search for nascar and nascar forums in google and other search engines. I do this for a living and that's why i was going to make a forum. Because if someone actually took a forum, used mod re-write they could quite easily come at the top of search engines for almost every keyword they wanted. anyways, i thought i would mention this to you if you were looking to make the forum grow.
Cheers

No need for mod_rewrite, the archives (http://www.benchracers.com/forum/archive/index.php/) are all ready search engine friendly. Even though it's not quite as nice as mod-rewrite, it still satisfies most search engine bots.

No, same 'ol management. I've given up on trying to sell the site. It's impossible to find someone who's legitimately interested in keeping the site alive.

I'm sure there's people interested in keeping the site alive. It's just that for some people, the work isn't worth the cost of time, you know. I still think though that this site isn't optimized properly. and i'm not too sure the search engines are actually spidering this site fully and properly. I'll check with my own version of the google spider later tonight when i'm on my own computer. and google does take up about 60% of the search engine market.
