Craig Rust, President of Watkins Glen International, announced today that the NASCAR Busch Series will race again at the historic road course in 2005. The Series not only makes its return after departing in 2001, but also will become Saturday's feature race during the SIRIUS at The Glen NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series weekend, August 11-14, 2005, giving Watkins Glen International a Busch/NEXTEL Cup Series doubleheader.

"We are thrilled to have the NASCAR Busch Series back at Watkins Glen International," said Rust. "This is not only a fantastic addition to our SIRIUS at The Glen weekend in 2005, New York State's largest weekend spectator event, but it also illustrates our continued efforts to bring the highest level of motorsports entertainment to our fans."

The NASCAR Busch Series will race on Saturday, August 13th, bringing more NASCAR excitement back to The Glen in the summer. The Series does have a solid history at the 2.45-mile road course in Watkins Glen, NY, competing there from 1991-2001. Terry Labonte holds the record with four Busch Series wins, followed by local favorite Ron Fellows with three wins, including the last race in 2001.
