Hello everyone!
Name's Ice, been racing Nascar since Nascar 2 on PC. I've played Nascar 2, 3, 2002 season, Thunder (PS2), and currently, Dirt to Daytona (PS2). Though I enjoyed the racing, I'm not too good at tweaking the cars, I just fool around with some settings and try to make up for it with my driving.
I dream about racing a full race, but don't usually have the time, but I don't like those super-short races too, so I usually set the race length to 30-60%, or in the case of Dirt to Daytona, Medium race length, IIRC.
I would like to know more about Nascar racing, though I cannot follow the races themselves since it is not popular in my country. What I do like about Nascar is the fact that you can win by driving well, and doing this is easier to do than racing street courses, here, you have only 4 turns to master, and the focus is on car control, keeping the car at a particular place in the track. I cannot explain how sweaty my palms would be when going in the middle, 3 wide in the superspeedway tracks (my favorites) in Nascar 2002 season. But I bet you all know this.
It's good to be here.
