Who is your favourite driver?

New to the site as of today, wanted to get to know what it's like around here. No better way to get to know the members than to here people's personnal opinions.

My favourite driver is #24 himself, Jeff Gordon. I actually met him in his rookie season. Nothing special, brief moment. However his character really stood out to me and being that it was my first year as a Nascar fan and was young and impressionable, he stuck with me. He really has never done me wrong. I must say, he's running pretty hot right now. Two wins in a row. Plus I think he could of won the 2 races prior to that if he hadn't had alternator problems or had that piece of concrete that wanted to become his hood ornament.

Looking forward to hearing the diversity.. I'm sure I'll be hearing some backlash also for my choice. I'm used to that.

Welcome, everyone has there favorite driver, my was the elder Earnhardt, but I also like terry Labonte and Ward Burton. Have met that later two. Never got to meet Dale. I'm not found of Jeff Gordon, met him also and he was rather upity. Maybe he's mellowed in his old age (place laugh here). Matter of fact my daughter, Rumor has meet several of the drivers, I chased Terry down pit road to get his autograph. And I've had my picture taken with Ward. As I said everyone here has a favorite and no one really gets on anyone about who they don't like or like. Welcome to the board and hope to see you around. Since I'm working today I'm catching up on my reading of this board. And for all intense and purposes, RUMOR, doesn't bite.

Terry Labonte and Tony Stewart and a soft spot for Derrike Cope since he was the first driver I ever met.

And it's true, I've met lots of drivers and other personnel, but I've never chased any down at a port a john. Even I wouldn't go that far. :eek:

I have been a big fan of Greg Biffle since his start in the Truck Series. I have also been a long time supporter of Roush Racing, but due to the controversy going on as of late, I will just say that I will still support Biffle is he decides to call a new place home.

I have been a nascar fan all 17 years of my life. My first driver was Davey Allison who drove the #28 I then went on to mark martin but after seeing kurt busch and greg biffle run in the truck series i became instant fans of them. The funny thing is i HATE ford cars...but yet all my drivers drive fords...

so i guess you could say the answer is 6,16,97....

well i love the intimidator.and since his fatal crash at daytona i havent really liked someone as much as him but i guess i would have to say ryan newman.
