1/8 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups milk, divided
1/3 cup pasturized processed cheese sauce
1/2 teaspoon tabasco
1/2 pound medium shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
1/4 pound crabmeat
1 cup shredded cheeder cheese
hot cooked rice (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. IN a small bowl, combine flour, pepper, and 1/4 cup of milk' beat witha whisk or fork until smooth, set aside. Pour remaining milk into top of double boile and place over simmering water on medium-high heat' add cheese sauce and heat until melted. Stir in Tabasco and flour mixture; cook and stir until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and gently stir in shrimp and crabmeat. Pour into a shallow 2 quart baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve over rice, if desired.
