By that mandatory caution that Nastycar forgot to mention to them, as well as a few other teams?

I don't know, Bobby picked up a few spots. I sure was cussing when he went into the pits! Thought he had a problem for sure. Then they "splained" about the caution coming up & when all was said & done Bobby had the lead for a little while!!!

It sure seemed odd that some teams knew and some didn't know. Nascar's excuse that they didn't get a chance to tell the 20 team is a bunch of bunk. Even Helton admitted they made a mistake. (Mark that on your calender. Helton admitted to a mistake).

Just another one of Nastycar's make'em as you go along rules I suppose.

They really should have announced it at the driver's meeting. They've done that before - said their would be a caution between lap XX and XX to check tire wear.

Really doesn't look good when they make up new rules in the middle of the race! But if they do they could tell the pit officials & have them tell the teams. No excuse for not getting the word out. If all else fails get a NASCAR official in the TV booth and announce it. Most of the teams have TV in the pits. :confused:

Yep, they could have done any one of those things. Though they said that they decided this after the driver's meeting. Still, they are held about 2 hrs. before race time, that was plenty of time to make sure every team knew about the competition caution.

What kind of rule will they make up next? :rolleyes: :confused:

I agree with you 100% Rumor...and how come when they do finally admit to making a mistake it's always when it's too late and they NEVER fix it?!?
they admit to it and then leave it as it was called. :mad:

I was not too happy about what they did to Rusty either.....they screwed him real bad on that pitstop and wouldn't give him his lap back! I know Pemberton was cussing up a storm...He was so PO'ed!!
I think someone there just doesn't like Rusty...not at all.
