Nascar sucks

I want to know why nascar doesnt allow rain tires? It would make more sense than stopping the whole damn race!! And also why dont the cars use real headlights? Is it to save weight, because im sure lights dont weigh too much!

**Sigh** Why am I even gonna answer.

They explained yesterday that for the most part the tracks are too high banked for the rain tires. They work well on the flat tracks, or road courses, where they have been tested, but they would not work at all on the high banked ovals.

You still haven't answered the question about why you are here if you think Nascar sucks.

So if they dont work on high banks how come cart cars use them still?

Do you put this much time and energy into everything else that you think sucks?? Just curious

And also...I have never known IRL or CART cars to use rain tires on high banked ovals. Road courses yes...ovals, no!! They might as well go crash there car into the wall at the start if they would try to do that.

Pretty much every track that CART/IRL races on are tracks with low banking. Michigan, Fontana, Texas, Homestead, Indy, all have little or no banking and they hardly have any passing or any passing on the outside so they wouldn't be up on the banking anyway. :D

You couldn't get away with rain tires at Bristol, Richmond, and other tracks. It just would not work!

NASCAR cars weigh 3500 lbs. They do not have spoilers on them that are bigger than the car itself. Tread tires on one of these cars at Charlotte would not be much better than slicks.

Don't worry folks, we'll have Nascar Sucks converted before it's all over with ;)
