If you had a wish-who would win the Championship?

It's an off weekend - think about this:

Forget the points - if you could pick the winner of the Championship - who would it be?

I'd wish for one of three

1. Little "E" in the #8 DEI owned car win in the year Dale Earnhardt hoped for his 8th championship - it would be awsome.

2. Steve Park in the #1 DEI owned car. Dale stuck by him in his Rookie year when he was injured so bad - a beautiful Thank You.

3. Kevin Harvick in the RCR #29. Called on to "fill-in" (NEVER replace) for Dale - a Rookie Champion would be something.

I know these are all probably impossible - but what IF

My picks.

Tony Stewart. The team just needs to get going earlier in the season.

Terry Labonte. Would be great to see him win. I know it's a long shot for this year, but brothers back to back champions would be too cool.

Dale, Jr. If it was this year, it would be so emotional for him, and I bet for many race fans.


As for Harvick. He may get that BGN championship. Pretty close to your wish list. :)

Just like you guys, I'd Love to see Jr. win his first championship and this year would be so beautiful! Although winning it without his father here to see it would be so emotional for him as well as for us fans. I doubt any of us would ever forget that.

I'd really like to see Rusty to win it...He has what it takes...I'm surprised he hasn't gotten it yet. Last year he had..what was it, nine poles?!? and how wins?!?! ;) He did great but he wasn't consistent enough to win it.

I think I wouldn't mind seeing Stewart in the circle either...He's a phenomenal racecar driver and all around athlete....He does so much outside as well as inside the car. I really like him!

and Terry....Oh Terry! The 'Ironman returnith'....that would be great.
