My story.....

When we went to Nazareth in 2000 we wanted more than anything to get some of our personal items signed...I have a very old diecast car of Benny Parsons'....He was never anything special to us but we did have his car and it was old and the whole point was to get autographs on our prize possessions...Trackrat and I were in line waiting for Casey Atwood to come out of his trailer and Benny walked by.....Trackrat swiped the car out of our pouch and quietly and respectfully walked up to Benny and said, "Mr. Parsons could you sign this please?"...well MR.PARSONS looked at Trackrat and said NO. Trackrat walked away and came back to me and I said, "Maybe he's busy...try again in a bit"....Well Trackrat walked up to him again not real long after and asked him again, "Can you PLEASE sign our car?"...and Parsons turned around, looked at Trackrat, stopped walking and YELLED, "I SAID NO!"
I couldn't believe it and neither could anyone else who was there!
I hope Trackrat doesn't spot dear Mr. Parsons next time...or he might be the one to get an earful this time!

Boy Fordlady, that really stinks!

I have had bad experiences with only two drivers. Met Benny once, years ago and he was pleasant enough but he was wearing thin on me the last few years.

I saw him on CNN/SI's new Nascar show, and he was kinda arrogant. He's one of the regulars for the show, first time I saw it.
