AOL wants young gun???

I heard this from a source (not sure how reliable) that AOL wants some young gun and not real sold on Green for that ride. (from inside AOL?)
Sure is interesing considering the Kenseth rumors.

From what I understand, the car Green is driving was going to be Harvick's this year to drive in the selected races. After Dale's death Harvick was tapped to drive the Goodwrench car (really ticking off Mike Skinner to boot).

AOL was supposed to be Harvick's sponsor for next year, from what I understand. Green was picked for the 5 races only. I don't think he was ever in consideration for the third Childress ride for next year--at least I hope not.

Because of Dale's death, Childress has to rethink the teams for next year. Before the season there was rumors that DE, Terry and Harvick were going to be the drivers next year. Now with Dale gone, Harvick will stay in that ride. I think Skinner is OUT--I hope so, so that would leave it open and I would love to see Terry in that ride. Which leaves Harvick's old ride open--Kenseth??? it could be.

I would think Childress would want a veteran driver in the stable anyway, to help the young'uns. Not that they need help anyway. But they sure won't get any help from Skinner if he stayed.

See Childress going will all young drivers. Kind of like, If your going to start over, start with the new.
I could be wrong though. I would love Terry to help tutor Matt along.
You never know about rumors though.
One thing I keep thinking about, that no one has brought up is this, When the rumors about Burton going to RCR, Roush and Jeff both came out and denyed it..right away. Matt's named was mentioned then and now..and yet we haven't heard any comments about that, from Matt or Jack. HUM makes e wonder. Surely they've heard it's going around?

Jeff Burton has been rumored too, but I hear he is still under contract (though they can be broken), but he is very loyal to the Mad Hatter. Kinda like Mark being loyal to him too.

Matt has not re-signed with Roush, and I think another Roush driver (biffle or busch, can't remember) is also unsigned but Matt has been the strongest rumor of those two about leaving.
