The Pep Boys Commercial

I was reading Insider Racing's Cheers and Jeers and this was a comment about that commercial:

JEERS to Pep Boys for their commercial comparing trading in a six year old CHILD to trading in a six year old CAR. How many kids are watching this family sport, and wondering if their parents might, in fact, trade them in? Maybe you have to know a child from a broken family to understand, but Pep Boys blew this one.

Personally, I thought the commercial was kinda funny and I did giggle at it. I'm from a broken home too, and I didn't get all upset. Then again, I'm in my 30's and not 6 years old.

I think the child's guardian should tell their kid NOT TO BELIEVE what they see on TV!!! I like the commercial! I think that commercial with the old guy in the Red Wings has given me more emotional scars than the Pep Boys commercial will EVER give to a child!! Let's BAN that one!

HAHA! Good one on the Red Wings Shoes commercial! :) I've read some of her past cheers/jeers and she does go off the deep end a bit.

You're right about the guardians and the children though, but people tend to pick on any little thing.

I used to watch Looney Tunes Cartoons when I was little and still do. Doesn't mean I was gonna throw an anvil on my brother's head though.

And I turned out OK too. :rolleyes: (Well, that's subject to opinion. :eek: )
