Tony replaced Gil DeFerran at Daytona and he will replace DeFerran for the remaining races this year. Any points Tony accumulates will be his. DeFerran has dropped out because he has not practiced in any IROC cars and he is running in both CART and IRL.
Also, I have heard that they will only run 11 cars for the rest of the year. Leaving the 12th position open. :(
