Question
How many receivers can one family have?
(i.e: hook up, connect, add, multiple, boxes, 2, two, 3, three, 4, four, T.V.'s, need, equipment.)
Answer
You can have up to 6 receivers on one account. If you have more than 6 you would need another account built.
Assuming you have a DISH 500, you can install up to 4 receivers to one dish. You must have 2 DUAL LNBFs. Once you exceed 2 receivers, you do need to move from an SW42 to a SW44 or SW64 multiswitch to transmit the signal to all receivers.
If you only have a DISH 300 you can use up to a 4 way multi switch and have receivers on up to 4 televisions.
Please note that each additional receiver on the account will add a $4.99/month addition outlet fee.
