I would like to Know if there is a program you could add on to the Nascar 3 so you can paint your car like the pros. I had a car downloaded but I can't get it on the game.

I recently downloaded a free paint program called "gimp" that works very well...check it out, it's the best free program I ever got!

How do you download and work it?

I'm glad you asked!! You must go to the link I posted and scroll down until you see the question, "What about Gimp for Windows?" Then follow the links for the Windows version...otherwise, you will get the Unix version.

Good Luck!!

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 when painting my Nascar 4 cars. It has everything I need from gradients, filters, half tones, and a TON of other features. It takes some getting used to. I've had psp7 for about a year, and within the last 3 months I've became really good at it.

Yeah, Bulldog is right on the money. Paint Shop Pro (http://www.jasc.com) is great program for the money. Some other features it has that come in handy while racing is the screen capture abilities. You can program a 'Hot Key', then everytime you want a screen cap while racing you just press the 'Hot Key', when your done racing, you go back to PSP and you can view all your screen caps. I've been using PSP since version 3 and now even though I'm doing most of my graphics Photoshop I still keep PSP installed.

PSP 7 is the real deal, these fellas are right...the mose useful feature in Paint Shop Pro is the ability to use layers. I assign a different layer to everything I paint!! A completed car for me has 30+ different layers.
