Does anyone have any reccomendations for a new video card? I'm still using the good ol' trusted Voodoo II 12 meg, and I think it's time to upgrade. I don't have the money to go over 32 meg, but as far as brand, I'm open for suggestions.
(leaning toward the Nvidia GTS or MX chip)

I'm not up on all the latest video card technology, but the best card I ever used was the 3DFX Voodoo 3. In my latest system I put in a $300 ATI Radeon card and the games don't compare to the output that the Voodoo card had. I see the Voodoo card going for $65 at some places. Check http://www.pricewatch.com to find the best prices on any card.

My 2 cents

Word of caution. Alot of companies advertise very low prices on Pricewatch.com and then they take you to the cleaners with shipping charges.

I only use pricewatch as a guide. I purchase 100% of my computer products from Mwave.com (http://www.mwave.com). And I buy alot. I probably spent close to $10,000 with them last year. I build alot of computers for freinds and family members. Their prices are fair and so is their shipping.

Again, my 2 cents. Wow up to 4 today!

I ended up getting a 64 meg VOODOO 5 for like 140 bucks from Axion. Several people tried to convince me not to get a Voodoo card because the company was sold, but the way I felt, the cards are VERY stable and probably won't need company support...I had to get a PCI card and I got twice the video memory for the same price as the other brands. The video card runs VERY well as I expected it would...I would recommend a Voodoo 5 if you can still find one.
