Quite a good crowd for the Twins today. I suspect alot of people called in sick. :D
Lap 1. Side by side racing for the first lap, then DJ ended up in the middle and got shuffled back. Bill Elliot is the current leader.
So far, lap 4. Mikey was on the inside for awhile, while Elliott still leading. But he couldn't get enough push to go ahead, so he fell back in line. Now he's trying to go three wide with Elliott on the outside, Marlin on the inside. Mikey tried to go with Marlin. Now Mikey is in the lead barely.
Gordon went way below the yellow line, which is natural for him. DE is behind Mikey, Elliott back in the lead.
Mikey is still trying to lead. He's leading the inside pack, but about 4 cars back of Elliott's group. Now Mikey is being pushed to the center. All this happening during the first 8 laps.
Jiffy in the lead now. This race sucks! ;)
First caution out, Carl Long blew an engine, looks like he won't make the race. Jiffy still leading, Elliott second. Cars coming in for pits. Elliott made like he was coming in but didn't. DE came in. The only car in the top 8 to come in. Most everyone else came in behind dale.
Another commercial. Love that guy trying to decide whether to get tires or the kid braces. Oh, those teeth on that poor boy. :eek:
Back to green. Jiffy still leading. DE in 7th with fresher tires. Pretty much single file. Bobby L. needs to haul butt, he's in 16th spot.
Well, I wrote some stuff in chad's thread. But Benson hit the wall and had to come in. Brought out a caution.
Robby Gordon was going into the pits and another caution with Hornaday and Jarrett.
Hornaday was in the middle and just lost it got tapped or hit a car and spun. DJ got hit by buckshot.
1 lap to go, after that caution. DE tried to snooker them, but Marlin went around him followed by Nadeau and DE, Houston, Spenser and others. Near the checkers, 4 wide to the finish.
Dodge won this race....hmmmmmmm.
It's interesting, but there were complaints that Marlin was leaking oil but nothing was done.
Hornaday may not make it. Depends on his time. Houston got in. HOORAY
Now, lets see how the second race goes.
