This is the design I picked to be new main page logo.

I'm going to work with the designer to make a couple small modifications to it, but you can expect to see it in place sometime in early March when the site gets a small update.
I do get to keep all the designs that he came up with, which can be seen here (http://digitalwebpro.bizland.com/benchracers/logos.htm).
I've also sent an email to the designer who created one that was popular amongst alot of you to get permission to keep it. I think that would look really good on t-shirts. But I have not received a response back yet.
