Hello all-
It's been a long time since I posted, and there are a few reasons for it.
1) My connection to internet was turned off on Dec 7th. This was because an organization known as the Recording Industry Association of American was unhappy with the files I chose to distribute freely. They believed I was infringing on the copywrights of the original artists. Needless to say, they contacted my ISP and hence, my ISP pulled my internet plug. To make a long story short, I had to write a letter saying that if I was distrubuting copywrited material that I'm sorry and it would never ever happen again. After a couple of weeks of no internet I finally wrote a decent letter and submitted to my ISP. My ISP then submitted the letter to the RIAA and once they received it they had 10 days to pursue any legal actions or it would be dropped and my internet would be reconnected. Well, my internet was finally turned back on last Friday. Yeah!!!
2) Remember me talking about a job interview awhile back? Well, I got the job and started Jan 3rd. Unlike my old job the was a 5 minute commute, this one if roughly an hour each way. So my day is seems shorter, and I've been pretty busy here during the get go. Plus I didn't have a computer to use right away. They bought me a laptop and it came in on Friday. So now I have a computer to visit the site with while at work.
3) Been working alot on whats going to be the baby room, should be painting it this weekend, and also the new office I'm building in the basement.
Now for the news:
1) We(my wife) had the ultrasound back in Dec. The official word is, we're having a boy!
2) The not-so good news is, with everything thats has been going on, my work on the new Armchair league program has ceased. I don't see it being ready in time for Daytona. I tried to recruit help from various other websites that I visit, but no one seemed interested. I will continue to develop it as time permits.
