Who will taste sweet victory for the first time in their career in 2001? How 'bout let's try picking at least 2 likely candidates!!
Mine are Ron Hornaday and (of course) Michael Waltrip.

Johnny Benson is my first pick. Secondly, has Tony Stewart won a race yet? j/k!;). I'll have to go also with Michael Waltrip, it would be nice to see him win a points race.

Benson I think for sure.
My second pick will get some laughs and critisisim but
I'd say Dave Blaney, based on his performance in the last
4 races. ;)

Kurt Busch & Johnny Benson, and I sure hope Mikie
wins one.

And that (I think) will only help him accomplish this.
NASCAR wants Dodge to succeed so I'm sure they'll be at an advantage at certain points in the season,IF one of those points are at a long flat track I KNOW he'll be there.Alot of "ifs" maybe but I really do think it's possible.

Blaney did come on very strong but for those of you counting on Dodge winning this year..I WOULDN'T bet on it.
It's going to take awhile to get everything where they need
it..just to be very competitive.
Benson may have the best chance but I don't think Michael
will win a race this year.

I would have to go with Johnny Benson and Kurt Busch as well.
Kurt really had a lot of momentum last season in the truck series. He is a bit rough, but under the Rousch wing, I think he will do well.
I would also like to see Casey Atwood do well.
Reminder: Virtual Thunder is back to cover the 2001 race season - we have added more features and we cover more series.

Dangit virtualthunder!! I was gonna try and get me some VT referrals from the folks on this site!! :)
Well, If anyone wants to try Virtual Thunder (http://www.virtualthunder.com), remember to use my name "SwampFox" (without the space) as your referrer!! ;)
This is a great free game where you can actually win prizes! So far just last year I won 2 tee shirts, 2 koozies, and an Earnhardt keychain! And I was registered for 2 drawings for Bristol tickets!

Sorry - I did not mean to steal your Thunder! How are you holding up in the off-season - going through withdrawals?

The offseason is TERRIBLE!!, just TERRIBLE!! If not for my Andy Griffith tapes and my taped races, I would probably go crazy!
I went on over to VT and all I can say is WOW! Y'all been keeping busy during the off season it looks like. I remember the new pick windows from the end of last season and the trial "pit crews" and that is what I thought I would see for new changes. Everything looks GREAT on the site, and I know a few of my open-wheel fan friends will be trying out your other series too. I may do a little of that, but I am banking on my WC, CTS, Busch, and IROC for fun. I was so excited to start, I almost went ahead and made my picks!! :lol ...then reality took hold and I decided to at least wait until practice!

The off-season is terrible - but I could really use more of it in order to get all of the site together. Thanks for the commetns and go ahead and tell your open-wheel friends to play. Personally, I follow the NASCAR series, but we are trying to expand the fun to race fans of every flavor.
Talk to you later!
